Mike Wood MP joined local dignitaries for the now annual Black Country Duck race which raises money for the amazing The Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge.

He joined the Mayor, Andrea Goddard and others at the Waterfront to formally open the event.

The Black Country Duck Race has grown to be a much loved and well attended event by hospice supporters and this year the hospice fundraising team have been pulling out all the stops to make this a fantastic event that the whole family can enjoy.

Commenting on the success of the event Mike said:

"It was my pleasure to formally open this quackingly fun event at the Waterfront and to be joined by so many constituents who want to support the work of this incredibly charity."
